Here is a little bit about Anthony:
An exceptional guitarist known for his expressive approach to performing, Anthony Cutietta has been heard as far east as Japan. San Diego born, he enjoys performing Jazz, Classical & Popular music for private and corporate events throughout southern California. He is currently recording a new collection of solo guitar works and arrangements that will be made available online and at live performances. In addition to being known as a solo performer, Anthony is known for performing with Joyce Hayutin as Duo Zelo, a Flue & Guitar Duo. He has performed with noted musicians Hiroko Fukuda, Fred Benedetti, Jimmie Smith and Batiki to name a few. He studied with guitarists Robert Wetzel, Fred Benedetti, Antonio De Innocentis, Gabriel Barcelo and George Svoboda.
In addition to performing Anthony has sat as Chair of Guitar Studies of two San Diego Music Schools, The El Cajon Music School and San Diego Music Studio. Anthony has received awards from the American String Teachers Association for his performance of Scarlatti and Barrios in addition to receiving a "Teacher of the Year" award from The El Cajon Music School.
