ARTLORD explores the relationship between current pop culture, recycled culture, and nonchalance. He accentuates overlapping themes and styles including the relationship between popular culture and media, repetition, provocation, and a deeper look into the process of expectations – particularly with recycled pop culture icons and his work often refers to pop and mass culture. Some works radiate a cold and latent violence while others create a sense of playfulness and joy.
